In fact, most ad films, commercials, corporate documentaries, comics and even movies rely heavily on the concept of storyboards in India. 1. Abstract to tangible:
The biggest problem that film makers face is bring an abstract idea into life. When creative directors try to create an ad film straight from their mind, there are bound to be situations where something comes out wrong or something gets left out. On the other hand, if a storyboard is used then these problems would not arise in the first place.
2. Uniformity of thought:
Another reason why the concept of storyboard in India is such a hit is that it gives the creative director of a film a tool for organizing his team. In different words, with storyboard the creative director would be able to have the whole team on the same page. Hence, this would remove any discrepancies or logical inconsistencies in different people’s work.
3. Polishing potential:
The concept of storyboard in India also allows the project handler to make changes to the idea or theme of the plot. Making changes in a storyboard is much easier and less costly when compared against doing the same in the video or animation sense. These modifications can be of any type including additions, deletions, layout changes etc.
