Seth Macfarlane Turns Host For A Television Show

After directing this summer’s sleeper hit Ted (and voicing everyone’s favourite foul-mouthed teddy bear), Seth MacFarlane will host the 38th season opener of the late night TV show Saturday Night Live on Sept. 15. Fans expect the man behind Fox-TV’s killer prime time toons, Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show of bring his brand of grown-up, irreverent humour and some animated spoofs to the comedy show.

Although Seth MacFarlane is also famous for his love for classic tunes—he loves to perform Sinatra-style songs and he has recorded an album of standards—his show will feature Frank Ocean as musical guest. Among the other guest hosts announced for the new season of SNL is Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Premium Rush, Looper) on Sept. 22, Daniel Craig (Skyfall) on Sept. 29. It may be a tough year for the comedy show as major draws Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg, Jason Sudeikis and Abby Elliot will not be returning as regulars this season.

Along with this, Seth MacFarlane is also excited about the launch of Ted the teddy bear who was in the movie Ted. The director of the movie MacFarlane who has also given voice to Ted in the movie is excited about the launch of the teddy in real. He stated in comments that, now every person who loves Ted can have him as their friend. The bear in the movie Ted is a foul mouthed and bad tempered bear that comes to life on the wish of his owner who wanted to have him as his friend for lifetime.
